About the Doctors
Jodie Escobedo, MD FAAFP
Dr. Escobedo trained and served as chief resident at the Santa Monica-UCLA Family Practice Residency. She has been in private practice in West LA/Santa Monica for over 10 years. She is a founding partner in Peak Health Medical Group where she practices during the work week. She has a special interest in end-of-life care and is board certified in both Family Practice as well Hospice and Palliative Care. She recently co-authored a guide to end-of-life called Transition.
Brian Madden, MD
A graduate of Brown University and UCLA Medical School, Dr. Madden has spent his entire medical career on the West side of Los Angeles. Also a founding partner at Peak Health Medical Group, Dr. Madden has a special interest in information technology. He is a principal at MD-ITSolutions, a healthcare information technology consulting firm. Dr. Madden held a part-time faculty position for three years in the Department of Family Medicine where he worked to develop a unique comprehensive primary-care dermatology atlas and case database.
Jennifer Chin, MD
Dr. Chin is a graduate of USC and UCLA. A Santa Monica High School grad, she returned to Santa Monica for residency when she did her training at Santa Monica-UCLA Family Practice Residency. In 1 year she earned full partnership at Peak Health Medical Group where she has a busy family practice. Fluent in several languages including sign language, Dr Chin is a founding partner in Doctors On Demand and a published author.
